Brookfield Properties’ Business Development team wanted a flexible space within a selection of our properties to host tenants on a temporary lease and showcase their brands in an intimate, immersive pop-up experience. It was my responsibility to oversee the project from ideation to completion.

The space was designed to be as neutral as possible so it could take on the identity of any brand going in to it. The layout and merchandising systems needed to be completely flexible to cater to the needs of the various tenants; from apparel to jewelry to fitness equipment.
Using the back wall as a focal point, and the flanking side walls as feature areas, the corner glass joins together seamlessly creating amazing sight lines in to the shop and a large canvas to make an impact. A removable merchandising unit and cashwrap were custom designed to install based on the client’s needs.
In addition to designing and overseeing manufacturing of the Brand Studio, it was my responsibility to conceptualize the pop-up experience for potential tenants. Our sales team would use these renders as a tool to pitch to potential tenants.
